Login to your ‘Price Monitoring’ app.
Here you see a list of the products that are currently being monitored.
The app has automatically found the competitors it knows of, if you know of others, you can manually add them.
You add them by clicking the cross in the right hand corner,
To do this, click the tick on the right side next to the product you want to add the competitor to.
Here you must then enter the URL of the product on competitor’s page.
It should be the path that links directly to the product page of your competitor. Please note that if you find your competitor’s products through Google, there may be ‘extra’ information associated with the URL. This is a good idea to remove, and then use the direct link instead.
Click add and you will be able to see it on the list of competitors for that product.
Please note that competitors who have more than 1 price are not valid, eg. other price comparison pages.
Price placement
Your price placement is divided into 6 levels:
– Cheapest
– Same as cheapest
– Cheaper – in less than -3% of the average
– Average – between +/- 3 of the average
– Higher – in less than -3% of the average
– Highest
Undefined – No competitors yet to compare with
