By using .csv files (comma-separated files), it is possible to import products directly into price monitoring.
This can be used to import new products or update products already in the system.
CSV import
Login to your price monitor and choose ‘CSV Import’ – Found under ‘Integration’
Here you must have a comma-separated file ready, one that must at least contain Product No. (ID/SKU), Title and Price – other possible fields are: Cost price, Previous price, GTIN/Barcode, Brand, Category, In stock.
You press ‘Choose File’ – and find the file on your computer.
Then tap ‘Transfer’ and you will see an overview of what your file contains, and now select the correct column headers there.
Please note that if your first column has headlines, mark it to be ignored.
You must then select the correct columns – see the following example:
Remember Product No. (ID/SKU), Title and Price are required. If you have other columns in your file that do not need, just skip them.
In the above example SKU, Title, Price, In stock and Cost Price, and 2 excess columns are listed.
Once you have selected the correct columns, click ‘Import xx lines’ – and the import will begin.
The import can also be used to update your products. For example, if you have barcodes on your products and would like to have them in the price monitor system, then you import a file that in addition to Product No. (ID/SKU), Title and Price also contains GTIN/Barcode. Then the products already in the system will be updated.
