Transferring a domain from another registrar to Golden Planet
Contact your current registrar, ask them to send you an auth code and make sure the domain is not locked.
When you have received the auth code, send it to us and we will take care of transferring the domain.
With us, an international domain name costs €30 per year, and we register it for 2 years at a time.
When we start the transfer, our international registrar (OpenSRS/Tucows) sends an email asking you to click a link to a web page, where you confirm with the click of a button that you have asked us to start the transfer. If you do not click the link in the email, where you can accept or decline, the transfer goes ahead automatically after 5 days.
Once the transfer has been confirmed both at OpenSRS/Tucows (the new registrar) and at the current international registrar, it typically takes a couple of working days before the domain has been fully transferred. From then on it is served by our name servers.
You may want to read the OpenSRS/Tucows policies here (opens in a new tab)
Transferring a domain from Golden Planet to another registrar
Note: Domain names cannot be transferred while they are locked. That is, within the first 60 days after they were created, or within 60 days after a previous transfer/change.
Ask your new registrar to transfer your domain to them, and they will start the process.
You will receive an email from OpenSRS/Tucows asking you to approve that you have started a transfer of your domain.
If you need an auth code, contact us and we will send you the code as soon as possible.
