I have received spam – what do I do?

If you have received spam from a Danish company, you can read on the Danish Consumer Ombudsman’s website how to complain (opens in a new tab) (in Danish).

If the spam comes from people or organisations abroad, it isn’t quite so easy to get it stopped.

As a rule, you shouldn’t use options to click a link or similar to unsubscribe from further mailings, as many spammers simply use this to confirm that you read what they send you, and will then step up their mailings.
