Sales in the last number of days
You can see sales per product over a number of days counting back from today (here and now) – a fixed number of days back in time. 90 days by default.
You can see this in the product list (when you are in All products or a particular category) by choosing the view All products with prices
In the column Sales (X days) you see the number of units sold. Click the column twice to sort with the highest sales first:
The number of days is the same as the one used to rank products by best sellers in the shop. You can change that number via
Sales in a chosen period
With the filter option, you can show sales per product in a chosen period.
That way you can see, for example, which products were sold in a particular month.
You do this by going to the product list in the admin and choosing the filter called Sales date.
Here you enter a date and choose, for example, greater than/equal to. You then get a list of all the products sold on that date and later.
An extra column called Sales appears, where you can see the number of products sold in that period.
In the example below, greater than/equal to 1 March 2018 has been entered – so it shows all sales made from 1 March 2018 onwards.
If you only want, for example, the sales from the month of January 2018, you need to create 2 filters. One with greater than/equal to 1 January 2018 and one with less than/equal to 31 January 2018.
Sales for a period + all time in an export to a spreadsheet (CSV)
You can also get sales per product exported to a CSV file, which you can then open in a spreadsheet, for example.
Go to the export function here
When exporting products, choose Sales
That export has two columns with sales. The first, Sales all time, is the total sales for the whole time the product has been active. The second is Sales for last period, which is the sales in the period set as shown in the previous section above.
You can also see more generally about the import and export functions here.
