B2B

2 min read

If you need to sell to other companies, known as B2B (business-to-business), Golden Planet's online shop has options that can help you, in addition to all our other features.

  1. Prices without VAT

Among other things, you can choose how prices are shown in the shop. If you sell only to companies, you can choose to show prices without VAT, but you can also show prices both with and without VAT. You find this under Settings > Payments > How prices are shown in the shop.

  2. Customer types

Choose which fields must be filled in when the customer is a company/public body. It is easy to put e.g. CVR no. (Danish company registration number), EAN no., public user ID or requisition numbers on the different customer types. This is done under Customers > Customer types. This is saved on the customer's account and will be filled in automatically when the customer is logged in and then goes to checkout.

  3. Restricted access

The online shop can be password-protected. This way, customers can be required to register before they get access, so prices can be hidden and purchases blocked for unregistered visitors.

This is done via Settings > Cart > Hide cart and buy button for customers who are not logged in.

  4. Bulk ordering

If your customers need to order many variants of a product, e.g. 3 in size S, 5 in size M, 4 in size L etc., you can choose a variant presentation with a buy all button. The customer then only has to enter the quantity per variant and can put everything in the basket with a single click.

  5. Customer groups/discount groups

You can sort customers into groups, e.g. different resellers. You can then set a discount price for each product. Read more about discount groups.

  6. Flexible payments

If your customers need to pay by invoice, you can choose that payment method and at the same time decide who may use it – e.g. only approved customers, or only those with an EAN/CVR no. You can make these methods available to specific customer groups via Settings > Payments > Payment methods. EAN invoices (electronic invoicing to Danish public authorities) must, however, be invoiced via virk.dk (the Danish public business portal) or an accounting system, if you have one.
