On this page

First and foremost, this update contains an extension of the options for filtering products, which can make a big difference to your online shop.

In brief, the most important things in this update:

  • Filtering products by anything
  • Create, delete and change products via the API
  • Barcodes on variants

Filtering products

Here you go – here are 122 products in the category – find what you want…

That’s easily how it can be when there are many products in your online shop. And it can be almost overwhelming for the customer, who may give up on buying.

With filtering you can make it much easier for the customer by giving a more precise selection of products. And thereby create extra sales in your shop.

When customers find it easy to shop with you, they are also more likely to choose to shop with you rather than with a competitor that doesn’t offer the same easy, good experience.

Create, delete and change products via the API

With an extension of the so-called API, it is now also possible to create, delete and update products by having another system contact the online shop.

It can be used, for example, for a POS system to update a product when it is sold in a physical shop.

If you – or developers from systems you use – want to know more about the API, just go to this page:

Barcodes on variants

Not least because of the coming requirement for barcodes on all products in Google Shopping (opens in a new tab), it is now possible to put a barcode on every single variant.
